Rooted in Christ. Celebrating every story.

Building homes that carry many worlds.

Elerie is a home for families shaped by more than one culture, language, place, and story — helping us remember where we come from, strengthen the families we are building today, and pass what matters most to the next generation.

come in — we're still building too

always under construction, already full of life

Welcome home

A home is more than the place where we live.

It is where our children learn who they are.

Around our tables, through the stories we tell, the food we make, the languages we speak, the traditions we keep, and the faith we live, our children begin to understand where they belong.

Elerie exists to help families build that home intentionally.

Not a perfect home.
A meaningful one.

A home rooted in Christ, enriched by the cultures that shaped us, and filled with stories worth passing down.

Every room leads somewhere.

✦

The Foundation

Know what you are building on.

Our identity begins with something deeper than nationality, language, or tradition. We believe our surest belonging is found in Christ — and from that foundation, we can receive our earthly stories with gratitude.

✶

The Family Table

Where traditions become memories.

Recipes. Celebrations. Family rituals. Stories told again and again. Discover ideas for bringing the cultures you love into the everyday rhythms of your home.

❀

The Hallway

Know your people.

Help your children recognize the faces, places, languages, and stories that came before them. Our family tools turn heritage into something children can see, touch, ask about, and remember.

The Living Room — Featured podcast

Come sit with us.

Stories of faith, family, culture and belonging — from one generation to the next. Hosted by two first-time mothers from Mexican and Korean backgrounds, the Elerie Podcast explores what happens when marriage, motherhood, faith, and family bring different worlds under one roof. Some conversations are joyful. Some are complicated. All of them invite us to know our people — and one another — a little more deeply.

☾

The Bedroom

Blessings given. Blessings received.

The quiet moments matter too. Prayers before sleep. Scripture spoken over little hearts. Words children may carry with them for the rest of their lives.

❋

The Garden

Blossom, growth and learning.

Growing is messy — yet we can find so much beauty in the process. Resources to help your family notice the memories and milestones as you grow together: what you keep, what you trim, and what you want to add to your life story.

What we're building

So… what are we actually building?

Good question. We're still figuring out some of it too. But we know this: we want to make things that help children know their people, hear the stories, play with what came before them and add something of their own.

Things you can touch. Things you can pull out at bedtime. Things that might make your kid ask Grandma a question you somehow never thought to ask her yourself. Things beautiful enough to keep, but not so precious that your four-year-old isn't allowed to touch them. Because that would sort of defeat the point.

We're starting with family play, storytelling and little rituals around the people and worlds that make us who we are. And we're building them with families, not just for them. That's where you come in.

Founding Families

Want to help us build the first room?

We're looking for a small group of families willing to let us into the wonderfully specific details of their lives.

What does Grandma always say? What disappeared between generations? What does your child know about their people? What do you wish they knew? What tradition are you trying to keep alive? What are you making up as you go?

Founding Families get early looks at what we're making, try things before anyone else, tell us when something makes no sense, and tell us when their kid completely ignores our instructions and does something better. No expertise required. You just need a family. Which, as we know, is complicated enough.

01 / 04

Your name and a valid email — that's all we need here.

02 / 04

A few words — even one — is enough.

03 / 04

A story, a recipe, a saying, a tradition you're keeping alive — or making up as you go.

Share just one small thing.

04 / 04

Pick at least one — or "on the way".

Living inheritance

We've been thinking about inheritance differently.

Not just the things someone leaves you. The things you pick up without realizing it.

Some of it is beautiful. Some of it is complicated. Some of it needs editing. Some of it can end with us. And some of the best things our children inherit haven't even started yet.

That's what we mean by living inheritance — what came before us, still alive enough to do something with.

The Inheritance Edit is coming.

A short, slightly nosy exercise about what your family handed you, what you're keeping, what you're changing and what you want to begin.

A home still under construction

A welcome from the founders.

the welcome video, coming soon — filmed at the kitchen table, obviously

We are all building something.

Our homes are not finished products, neither are our families. We are:

Learning. Remembering. Forgiving. Celebrating. Planting. Praying.
Beginning traditions and rediscovering old ones.

Some pieces come from the families who raised us. Some come from the places we have lived. Some we are creating for the very first time.

And through every season, we pray that Christ remains the foundation beneath it all.

Always under construction. Always growing. Always blooming.

Julia & Lidy

We should probably explain how we found each other.

L

Lidy

Grew up in rural Mexico, in a house built on her great-grandparents' land. Concrete floors, exposed brick, steel bars sticking out of an unfinished roof. She never thought of it as unfinished, though. It was just home.

J

Julia

Grew up crisscrossing New York: American school, Korean school, Korean church, H Mart runs in Queens, Manhattan for high school and college. Ten apartments, every borough except Staten Island. Sorry, Staten Island.

We're Lidy and Julia. Two first-time moms who met at a bible study group and instantly connected. Then we started talking about what our daughters were inheriting — and, apparently, never stopped.

Lidy grew up rooted to one piece of ancestral land. Julia grew up rooted to a city made of a thousand different worlds. And somehow, we found each other. Somewhere in all that talking, Elerie happened.

Conversations

Things we keep talking about.

Eavesdrop →

We started filming conversations because apparently we have a lot to say about family, faith, culture, motherhood, inheritance, belonging — and why becoming a parent suddenly makes you question things you had accepted for twenty or thirty years.

Clip 01 — "Where did you think home was, growing up?"

Clip 02 — "The tradition that began last Tuesday and is now family law."

Clip 03 — "What did you almost lose between generations?"
